Hayley Kenner & Yennifer Mejia
Founders, Trainers, Owners
West University/The Heights/East Village
Dog trainers by trade, Hayley and Yennifer became fast friends over a decade ago, bonding over their passion and knowledge of animal behavior. They met in 2014 where they were both employed by another dog training startup in Houston and have worked together ever since. When Hayley founded Revival Dog Training in 2021, Yennifer followed shortly after, and then soon began her own investment in the company, where their business partnership started in full swing. Together, they created the immensely popular programs that RDT is known for. Within 4 years, they have expanded the business to 14 team members and 3 locations in The Heights and West University neighborhoods of Houston, and East Village of Manhattan.
Hayley and Yennifer have a team-oriented mindset, are extremely client-focused, and prioritize the training and safety of the dogs in their care. They work collaboratively with the team of RDT everyday to ensure that each dog receives the highest level of education and attention, as their dedication to canine welfare is at the heart of everything they do. United in their passions, Hayley and Yennifer are devoted business partners who balance each other perfectly, and who bring to one another complementary strengths.
Director of Operations
West University/The Heights
Mallory was born and raised in Austin and moved to Houston in 2016 to pursue her Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Houston. While in school, she began working at Houston Pets Alive and immediately found a passion for working with dogs. She had always grown up around animals, but working at the rescue helped allowed her to understand them in a new way. Mallory found a purpose in understanding and connecting with each dog she worked with to find their forever families. She went on to work at a dog daycare and boarding facility where she had an amazing mentor who strengthened her understanding of working with dogs and introduced her to the world of owning and operating a dog caretaking business. She has been working in management at dog care facilities since 2019 and absolutely loves what she does! She has a passion for learning and enjoys researching, reading, and spending time with her friends. She is always looking for ways to challenge herself and grow from new experiences.
Trainer
Skye's love for dogs started at a young age. She grew up having dogs all her life. Her passion for training grew when she got Xena the Husky. Xena started exhibiting some challenging behavior problems which lead Skye to her true destiny. Skye originally was going to college to study veterinary in California and decided that she wanted to change paths and be able to help dogs versus be the person to euthanize them. With over one year of professional dog training experience, Skye is currently working on learning all there is to know about dog training and is working on earning her dog training certification CPDT-KA. When Skye is not training dogs, she is spending quality time with Xena. One of their favorite activities to do together is to explore new trails!.
